Klamath Falls-based Oregon Institute of Technology is launching a fully online Master of Science in Dental Hygiene program.

The program, beginning this summer, is designed to provide current and future dental hygiene professionals with advanced knowledge, leadership skills and research experience, according to a May 26 news release from Oregon Tech.

By delivering the program completely online, the program provides additional flexibility for students and working professionals.

The curriculum includes 15 courses, including 30 credits of required coursework and 15 credits of electives.

Darlene Swigart, associate professor at Oregon Tech, helped create the program and will serve as program director, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
