The scholarships will provide financial assistance and reduce economic barriers for dental practitioners from underrepresented and underserved communities of color. The two groups will select 28 recipients to receive $7,500.
This is the second year the two organizations have partnered on the scholarship program, according to an Aug. 24 news release.
