AGIC Capital, a private equity firm focused on healthcare technologies, has acquired Solmetex, a provider of dental products, systems and consumables.
Avista Healthcare Partners, the private equity firm that completed the sale, retained a minority stake in Sometex, according to a March 19 news release.
Solmetex partnered with Avista for four years, during which the company completed three strategic acquisitions to continue its growth.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
