3M ESPE, a part of 3M Health, developed a new polymer, Filtek Bulk Fill. The polymer is designed to allow dentists to fill cavities with a single application.

Aspen Dental partnered with racecar driver Danica Patrick to promote oral health. Ms. Patrick will help the company with its Healthy Mouth Movement, which is designed to give free dental care to thousands of people in the United States, according to a Fansided report.

Biolase named Alexander K. Arrow, MD, its CMO. Previously, Dr. Arrow was the company’s president and COO.

Danaher will acquire Swiss dental implant maker Nobel Biocare for approximately $2.2 billion.

DENTSPLY International announced a quarterly cash pay dividend of $0.06623 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on Jan. 9, 2015.

Heartland Dental has named Craig Kabbes its vice president of technology support systems.

Henry Schein has extended several credit facilities, totaling $1.78 billion.

Patterson Companies will pay a cash pay dividend of $0.2 per share on Oct. 24.
