Aspen Dental donates $30.8k+ to oral cancer foundation — 3 key notes

Approximately 600 Aspen Dental practices across 35 states donated $30,795 to the Oral Cancer Foundation in recognition of April’s Oral Cancer Awareness Month.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The practices held an oral cancer screening program in April. For every screening, the dentists donated $5 to the foundation.

2. Since 2010, Aspen Dental has donated more than $135,000 to the foundation.

3. The Oral Cancer Foundation’s Director of Special Projects Natalie Riggs said in a release, “Through the work of our partners like Aspen Dental, we are able to prevent further deaths by providing Americans more screenings as well as the resources required to facilitate disease awareness, early discovery and improve treatments and their outcomes for oral cancer.”
