Atlanta West Dentistry welcomes new dentist — 5 notes

Lauren Bowersox, DDS, joined Atlanta West Dentistry in Marietta, Ga., according to The Marietta Daily Journal.

Here are five notes:

1. Dr. Bowersox earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond.

2. She went on to complete a two-year residency at Georgia Regents University in Augusta.

3. During her residency, she focused on dental implant placement, oral surgery and IV conscious sedation.

4. Presently, she serves as an assistant clinical instructor at Georgia Regents University’s department of oral rehabilitation.

5. During this year’s Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting, Dr. Bowersox was recognized as the Outstanding Table Clinician.
