Bluefield College, Just Compassion partner to bring Virginians dental care — 5 notes

Bluefield (Va.) College penned an agreement with Richmond, Va.-based Just Compassion to provide dental care to low-income families and children in Southwest Virginia, according to Bluefield Daily Telegraph.

Here are five notes:

1. Just Compassion is a nonprofit organization that gives underserved residents free dental services.

2. Services rendered include X-rays, cleanings, education, medication and emergency intervention.

3. Through the partnership, Bluefield College will provide residents mobile dental services.

4. Just Compassion is currently fundraising to buy a dental unit for the Bluefield area.

5. Additionally, Just Compassion will provide services to Bluefield College students who cannot afford dental care as well as international students who don’t have dental care access.
