Smile Brands partnered with Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Johnson Family Dental to acquire a California Dental Group office in Port Hueneme, Calif.

Vyne, a provider of health information exchange and electronic claims, received the Health Information Trust Alliance CSF Certified status for its Trace and FastAttach solutions.

The California Dental Association revised the proposed settlement between Delta Dental of California and the plaintiff class of Premier dentists doubling the amount Delta Dental originally agreed to pay the dentists.

Delta Dental of California plans to lay off 51 employees at its operation center in Rancho Cordova.
