Dentsply Sirona purchases MIS Implants Technologies in $375M deal — 5 things to know

York, Pa.-based Dentsply Sirona purchased Israel-based MIS Implants Technologies for $375 million, according to Central Penn Business Journal.

Here are five things to know:

1. Last year, MIS Implants Technologies had annual sales reaching nearly $80 million.

2. MIS Implants Technologies’ distributes its products through a network encompassing 65 countries.

3. Dentsply Sirona paid $375 million in cash to acquire MIS Implants Technologies’ shares.

4. This year, Dentsply and Sirona merged to form Dentsply Sirona, which has international headquarters in Austria.

5. The MIS Implants Technologies acquisition marks Dentsply Sirona’s first acquisition since their merger.

“MIS has a broad portfolio of implants and related products under a well-established brand, making it a great complement to our company,” said Dentsply Sirona CEO Jeffrey T. Slovin.
