FDI World Dental Federation welcomes Academy of Osseointegration as affiliate member: 3 notes

The international dental association Academy of Osseointegration has been elected to a new level of partnership with the FDI World Dental Federation.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. For the past five years, the Academy of Osseointegration has been designated a “supporting member” of the FDI World Dental Federation.

2. During the General Assembly of the 2016 FDI World Parliament in Poznan, Poland, which took place this past September, the Academy of Osseointegration was elected to “affiliate member” status.

3. The “affiliate member” designation recognizes non-profit international dental associations that the federation feels have missions reflective of their own. At present, the Academy of Osseointegration serves 6,000 members in 70 countries.
