Healthy Kids Dental Program expands coverage

 
Healthy Kids Dental Program, which provides access to dental care to Medicaid-eligible children, is expanding its coverage Kalamazoo and Macomb counties, according to a MLive.com report.

The Healthy Kids Dental Program pays for most of the common dental treatments at a list of participating dentists, such as X-rays, cleanings, fillings, root canals and tooth extractions. With this expansion, the program is now in 80 of the state’s 83 counties and provides service to more than 555,000 children, according to the report.
