Henry Schein donates $26k in dental supplies to refugee camp: 3 highlights

Henry Schein donated $26,000 in oral healthcare supplies and products to IsraAID, a non-government organization providing relief and long term support in crisis areas around the world. Their donation will help supply IsraAID’s new mobile dental hospital.

Here are three highlights:

1. The donation included syringes, gloves, anesthetics and other supplies to support IsraAID’s dental outreach trip to Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.

2. IsraAID’s dental hospital is equipped to provide a range of treatments, from screenings to surgical procedures and to provide oral health education to enhance community members’ preventive hygiene practices.

3. Volunteer dentists are expected to treat approximately 100 to 120 patients per day during the five day clinic.
