Henry Schein net sales reach $3B in Q4, 3M shares witness 6% short interest increase & more — 5 key notes

Henry Schein announced nine finalists for the Inaugural Health Schein Care Medal, three of which are from the oral health category — Apple Tree Dental,  Diocesan Council for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Dioceses and San Diego Dental Health Foundation. Henry Schein will grant each winner $10,000 worth of Henry Schein product and an additional $15,000 in cash to go toward their charitable work.

In the fourth quarter, Henry Schein net sales reached $2.9 billion, up 5.5 percent from the fourth quarter of 2014.

3M shares registered a 5.7 percent increase in short interest. The company’s total short interest was 7.6 million shares in February, according to FDA News Alert.

Heartland Dental is supporting the Doctor Mastery Program, an initiative aimed at helping dentists achieve personal and professional expertise. With Heartland Dental’s help, the pogrom will help dentists of all experience levels become dental leaders in their marketplaces.

Hermes Investment Management purchased 27,909 Patterson Companies shares, increasing its stake 5.1 percent during the fourth quarter, according to The Vista Voice.
