3M settled a patient infringement lawsuit with Whitepeaks Dental Solutions in Germany. The lawsuit focused on technology that enables ceramic-based dental restoration coloring. Following the settlement, Whitepeaks Dental Solutions will license the patented technology from 3M.

Aspen Dental is opening a new office in Athens, Ga. The office will provide a wide array of dental services, including preventive care and general dentistry and restoration. Rachel Clay, DDS, will head the clinic.

Danaher announced a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share payable on Jan. 30, 2015, according to a CNN Money report.

Leslie Jones, a director with DENTSPLY International, sold 18,000 shares of company stock at an average price of $55.45 per share, according to a report from Ticker Report. The total transaction price was $998,100.

Henry Schein appointed Lawrence S. Bacow, PhD, to its board of directors. Dr. Bacow currently serves as leader-in-residence at the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Henry Schein‘s board of directors authorized the repurchase of up to $300 million shares of the company’s common stock.

Patterson Companies announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share payable on Jan 23, 2015.
