Here are five notes:

1. S.C. Goldman and Company led the initial financing round.

2. The DSO model will support dental professionals by offering marketing, financial and practice information as well as other business services.

3. The model aims to allow dentists to improve care delivery to spend more time with patients, rather than billing and other administrative tasks.

4. Mid-Atlantic is looking to partner with dentists in the mid-Atlantic region including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.

5. “Our goal is to leverage our deep bench of dental industry expertise and resources to partner with dentists that are enthusiastic about changing the delivery of care while building enterprise value over time,” said Mitchell Goldman, CEO, Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners. “Our regional approach ensures that we can be responsive to the unique needs of each practice while offering significant long-term benefits for our dental partners.”
