New Horizons opened a dental clinic in Roanoke, Va., in November 2014. Within the first six months of operation, the clinic is estimated to treat 1,200 patients, according to the report.

The clinic was opened with $407,500 donated from the city of Roanoke, Virginia Health Care Foundation, United Way of Roanoke Valley, Foundation for Roanoke Valley, Roanoke Women’s Foundation and Richard & Caroline Gwathmey Memorial Trust, according to the report. A further $200,000 federal grant aided the clinic’s establishment.
