Southwest Health Clinic celebrates new dental clinic — 5 takeaways

Newberry, Fla.-based Southwest Health Clinic opened a new dental office last spring, according to WUFT 5.

1. The clinic aims to serve residents who cannot afford dental care.

2. Dentists offer services including extractions, fillings, comprehensive exams, cleanings and other services at affordable costs.

3. Between June and September, the clinic served 784 patients.

4. Southwest Health Clinic will host its grand opening celebration on Oct. 14, where refreshments, giveaways, tours and patient testimony will be available for attendees.

5. The United Health Foundation provided the clinic a $1.85 million grant to serve local residents.
