University of New Haven Dental Hygiene program receives $10k grant

The Dental Trade Alliance Foundation of Arlington, Va., has granted the University of New Haven Dental Hygiene Program in West Haven, Conn., a $10,435 grant, according to a Dr.Bicuspid report.

The grant will fund the project Your Mouth is the Gateway to Good Health, which focuses on oral healthcare for seniors.

Dental hygiene educators and students will provide education and care to more than 250 seniors in the area.
