Dr. Theodore Siegel provides Chicagoans with free dental care: 3 key notes

Theodore Siegel, DDS, spread the love this Valentine’s Day when he offered free care out of his Chicago-based practice, Big Smile Dental, DNA reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Siegel offered patients free cleanings, X-rays and fillings. It’s a yearly tradition of his called “Dentists With Heart.”

2. Now in its 12th year, Dr. Siegel said he has given out $2.5 million in free dental work and helped 5,500 patients to date.

3. Dr. Siegel said to DNA, “I started this charity to help change the lives of those people that didn’t have enough money to take care of the things that you and I take for granted.”
