The partnership aims to provide NFL players with sleep apnea screenings and treatment through the association’s mobile clinics, according to a Feb. 8 news release from Ori.
During recent mobile clinic events, Ori scanned more than 50 players. The scans were then passed to Gergens Dental Lab to create sleep apnea devices.
Ori’s intraoral scanning approach has replaced traditional silicone impression methods, reducing the device fabrication time and improving scan accuracy, the release said.
