North Carolina woman charged with working as a dental hygienist without a license

A North Carolina woman was recently charged with working as a dental hygienist despite not having a license, abc45 News reported April 16.

Investigators were reportedly helping the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners with an investigation when it discovered that Tasha Flaherty was allegedly working as a dental hygienist at My Dentaville Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry in Lexington, N.C.

Ms. Flaherty was charged with a felony count of practicing without a license. She is scheduled to appear in court May 22.
