Dental implant maker weighing potential sale: Bloomberg

ZimVie, the dental implant spinoff of Zimmer Biomet, is weighing options for a potential sale, Bloomberg reported June 25.

Four notes: 

1. ZimVie is reportedly working with an adviser to explore its options after receiving interest from potential buyers.

2. Discussions for a sale are reportedly in their early stages, and the company may still decide against a sale, Bloomberg reported. 

3. A representative for ZimVie declined to comment to Bloomberg.

4. ZimVie was launched in 2022 as a spine and dental supply company, but the company decided to sell its spine business to H.I.G. Capital for $375 million last year.
