The growth of the market is heavily driven by the increase in robotic dental surgery, which has improved the accuracy and precision of the implant process, according to an Aug. 23 news release from Technavio Research.
The high cost of dental implant procedures is one of the challenges facing the market. In the U.S., the surgery can cost between $6,500 and $11,000, which leads some patients to choose alternative procedures such as bridges or dentures.
The report expects an annual compound growth rate of 6.78% between 2024 and 2028, the release said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
