Root canal device gets FDA approval

Endodontics technology company Odne received FDA clearance for Odne Clean, an endodontic debridement device.

The device is used during the root canal disinfection process. The cavitation jet removes debris and uses a saline solution as the main irrigation medium, according to an Aug. 27 news release. 

The company earned FDA clearance for Odne Fill, its root canal obturation technique, in 2023. 

Based in Switzerland, Odne raised $5.5 million for its U.S. market launch in March.
