AAOMS installs Dr. David Morrison as president

The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons named David Morrison, DMD, as president for the 2024-25 term.

Dr. Morrison previously served as president-elect, vice president, district IV trustee and caucus chair of the organization, according to an Oct. 4 news release. 

In addition, Dr. Morrison is an associate professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and was a partner at Oral and Facial Surgery Associates in Cincinnati for more than 28 years. 

He succeeds Mark Egbert, DDS, in the role. 

The AAOMS represents more than 9,000 oral and maxillofacial surgeons, the release said.
