Henry Schein helps students go back to school: 5 insights

Henry Schein launched its 20th annual Back to School program, which provides students backpacks, school supplies and new clothes to return to the classroom.

Here are five insights:

1. This year Henry Schein estimates more than 5,000 children will participate in the program throughout 30 Henry Schein locations.

2. In addition to providing classroom essentials, students will also receive hygiene products donated by Henry Schein.

3. Nearly 550 children and families attended the kick off celebration at the company’s headquarters in Melville, N.Y.

4. Since the program launched, Henry Schein has helped approximately 50,000 students return to school with supplies and oral care.

5. The Back to School program partners with 11 social service organizations, including the Bethany House, Family and Children’s Association, Family Service League and YES Community Counseling Center.
