The states with the most DSO activity in January

Florida, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee and Washington, D.C., were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, acquisitions and openings during January.

Those states saw at least two DSO moves in January, as reported by Becker’s:

Florida

  • Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health added Dentists in the Grove in Miami.
  • Sarasota, Fla.-based Parkview Dental Partners added two practices in Florida to its network.
  • ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers opened an office in The Villages, Fla.

South Carolina

  • Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management added a practice in Conway, S.C., to its network.
  • Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental affiliated with Garners Ferry Dentistry in Columbia, S.C.

Texas

  • Irving, Texas-based Specialized Dental Partners added San Gabriel Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Georgetown, Texas, to its network. 
  • Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS added Parkway Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in Houston to its network.

Tennessee

  • Nashville, Tenn.-based Innovate 32 added a dental practice in Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
  • Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental opened two locations in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Washington, D.C.

  • Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners added Capital Kids Dentistry to its network.
  • Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists added Capital Oral & Facial Surgery in Washington, D.C., to its network.
