Daniel Buksa has been named the new executive director of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Mr. Buksa has served in multiple roles with the organization since 1997, when he joined as its advocacy manager. He most recently served as interim executive director for the organization since October 2024, according to a March 17 news release.
In his new role, Mr. Buksa will oversee the strategic, operational, financial and governance aspects for the organization.
