The grant will fund the Ricardo Salinas Pediatric Dental Clinic, a UTHSC satellite clinic, which provides dental care to children from low-income and underserved families in the area. The clinic treats more than 5,000 children each year. It was established through a partnership between the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District and the School of Dentistry at the UT Health Science Center, according to the report.
