Chicago-based The Aspen Group has partnered with the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias to provide free dental care to patients with ectodermal dysplasias.

The collaboration marks the launch of the Smile Bridge program. The program will connect patients with ectodermal dysplasias between the ages of 2 and 22 with a clinician at an Aspen Dental or Clear Choice Dental Implant Centers location.

The DSO said June 4 that the program was inspired by an Aspen Dental dentist and lab technician who created dentures for a young patient with ectodermal dysplasia. This patient went on to a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest person to receive dentures.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
