Chicago-based Aspen Dental has closed one of its practice locations in Dunkirk, N.Y., according to a Sept. 16 report from Observer Today.
Patients of the practice were sent a letter notifying them of the closure decision, which took effect Sept. 1. The DSO first opened in Dunkirk in 2011, according to the Better Business Bureau.
Aspen Dental has nearby locations in Blasdell and Lakewood, N.Y.
Aspen Dental has also closed and consolidated practices in Illinois and Massachusetts in 2026.
Aspen Dental is one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., supporting more than 1,100 locations across 45 states, according to its website.
