10 Heartland Dental headlines to know from the first half of 2025

From partnership to new practice openings to new leadership appointments, here are 10 updates to know on Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental, as reported by Becker’s during the first half of 2025:

  1. Heartland Dental and Leixir Dental Laboratory Group agreed to a four-year extension of their strategic partnership.
  2. Heartland Dental added Davie (Fla.) Dental to its network. 
  3. Heartland Dental and Concorde Career Colleges broke ground on their first co-branded dental training campus in Fort Myers, Fla.
  4. The DSO added ​​Anchor Point Dental Care in Newport News, Va., which is led by Mark Artzer, DDS, to its network. 
  5. Heartland Dental partnered with Desert Springs Dental in Gilbert, Ariz.
  6. The DSO partnered with Jacobson Dental Group in Walled Lake, Mich., led by Stephen Jacobson, DDS.
  7. The company affiliated with Garners Ferry Dentistry in Columbia, S.C., which is led by Anna Fuller, DMD.
  8. Chris Tampio was named vice president of government affairs at Heartland Dental. 
  9. The DSO appointed Sherianne James as its chief marketing officer.
  10. Heartland Dental launched “Masters and Mentors,” a new campaign to reinforce the DSO’s commitment to its support model and culture.
