Illinois dentist dies in skydiving accident

Noel Liu, DDS, died in a skydiving accident July 7, shawlocal.com reported.

Dr. Liu was a renowned entrepreneur known for his expertise in implants and his commitment to clinical education, according to his website. He was the CEO and co-founder of Secure Dental in Peoria, Ill. 

“Noel touched the lives of many with his warmth and enthusiasm, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever. He was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and mentor to many,” Secure Dental Co-founder Nazish Jafri, DDS, said in a Facebook post.

The skydiving accident is currently under investigation. Results from a forensic autopsy and toxicology test are also pending.
