Dental technology company Dentsply Sirona has appointed Daniel Scavilla as its next president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.
Mr. Scavilla was previously president and CEO of Globus Medical, an orthopedic medical device company. He also spent 28 years in a variety of financial and operational leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, according to a July 21 news release. He was appointed to Dentsply Sirona’s board of directors in February.
The company’s current CEO, Simon Campion, will step down from this role July 31. He will also step down as a member of the board.
