The Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee partnered with Aurora Health Care to launch a general practice residency program.

As part of the program, residents will provide dental care at the school while rotating with Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee for rotations in anesthesia, internal medicine and the emergency department. The medical center will also have a dedicated dental treatment room within its emergency department, according to an Aug. 26 news release. General practice residents will also work alongside physician residents at the medical center.

The residency program is scheduled to begin later this year.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
