Welcome Dentistry Group, which has four locations in California, recently experienced a data breach affecting more than 1,000 individuals.
The breach was reported as a hacking incident to the HHS Department’s Office for Civil Rights Breach Portal Aug. 13.
The Shamis & Gentile law firm announced that it launched an investigation into the breach Aug. 27. The law firm stated that individuals affected by the breach may be entitled to compensation.
