The CareQuest Institute for Oral Health has named Wade Rakes as its new CEO.
Mr. Rakes has an extensive background in healthcare leadership, previously serving as chief growth officer at Centene and president and CEO of its Georgia-based subsidiary, Peach State Health Plan.
In his new role, Mr. Rakes is tasked with overseeing several aspects of CareQuest’s operations, including the management of its endowment, the organization’s advocacy efforts, its dental insurance and benefits administrator, and the company’s innovation arm, according to a Sept. 15 news release.
