ZimVie stockholders approve acquisition by PE firm

Dental implant manufacturer ZimVie’s stockholders voted to approve the acquisition of the company by Archimed.

The merger is expected to close on Oct. 20, according to an Oct. 10 news release from ZimVie. 

In July, the companies entered into an agreement for Archimed to acquire ZimVie for $730 million. 

Archimed is a healthcare-focused investment and private equity firm, the release said.
