Crescent Community Health Center in Dubuque, Iowa, has completed a $3 million expansion to meet increased patient demand for dental services, KCRG reported Oct. 15.

The expansion brings the clinic up to 35 dental chairs and 11 dentists. The clinic also added providers to expand specialty services.

New dental patients previously had to wait several months for appointments. Wait times are now expected to decrease to just a few weeks.

The expansion project was funded through public and private donations, including $1.3 million from the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation.
