A dental office in Colonie, N.Y., was evacuated after a car crashed into it, causing a gas leak, News10 reported Nov. 1.

Colonie Fire Company Chief Jeff Kayser told News10 that the driver may have accidentally pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake as they were pulling into the parking lot next to DeSanti & Linden Dentistry.

The gas leak was contained after the building was evacuated. No injuries were reported.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
