Texas, Colorado, Ohio and Connecticut were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, openings and acquisitions during October.

Those states saw at least two DSO moves in October, as reported by Becker’s:

Texas

  • Choice Dental Group, a mini-DSO based in Texas, opened a location in Killeen, Texas. 
  • Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened a new location in Midlothian, Texas.
  • Jenks, Okla.-based Lumio Dental purchased a dental practice in Southlake, Texas. 

Colorado

  • Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health opened Golden (Colo.) Modern Dentistry.
  • Aspen Dental opened practices in Fort Collins and Brighton, Colo.

Ohio

  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 acquired Van Buren Dental in Kettering, Ohio.
  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Leading Edge Specialized Dentistry opened a de novo practice location in Toledo, Ohio. 

Connecticut

  • Danbury, Conn.-based Archway Dental Partners acquired five dental offices in Connecticut. 
  • Presto Dental, a brand affiliated with Abra Health Group, opened its flagship location in Bridgeport, Conn.
