California, Missouri, New York and Texas were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, openings and acquisitions during November.
Those states saw at least two DSO moves in November, as reported by Becker’s:
California
- Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health added The Dental Office on Magnolia in Riverside, Calif.
- Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners added Koopah & Koopah, Inc. to its network, which has locations in San Francisco and Orinda, Calif.
Missouri
- Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened an office in Overland, Mo.
- Dallas-based Apex Dental Partners completed a new partnership in Missouri.
New York
- Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners added Bright Healthy Smiles, a practice in New York City.
- Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management added Dugan Oral Surgery in Oneonta, N.Y., as a partner practice.
Texas
- PDS Health added Harpers Kids’ Dentistry in Conroe, Texas, and The Groves Dental Group in Humble, Texas.
- Dallas-based Smile Doctors completed two expansion acquisitions with affiliated doctors: True Smile Orthodontics and Pendleton Orthodontics in Texas.
- Aspen Dental opened a location in Palestine, Texas.
- Apex Dental Partners also expanded with a new partnership in Texas.
