Dale Baur, DDS, has been named interim dean of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Baur previously served as vice dean of the school. He will serve in his new position beginning Jan. 1 until a permanent dean is found, according to a Dec. 23 news release.
Dr. Baur graduated from Case Western in 1980. He then underwent oral and maxillofacial surgery training and completed a head and neck surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan. He also served 24 years in the U.S. Army.
