A dental practice in Honolulu was destroyed by an electrical fire, according to a Jan. 22 report from Hawaii News Now

The practice, led by Lance Teramoto, DDS, had been located in the Kahala Professional Building for 26 years.

The fire caused tens of thousands in damage, but Dr. Teramoto plans to rebuild the office and continue practicing.

While the repairs are being made, Eugene Azuma, DDS, offered a few dental chairs at his nearby practice to Dr. Teramoto to continue providing care to patients.

No one was in the practice at the time of the fire, the report said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
