DSOs are continuing to invest in artificial intelligence technology to enhance patient care and practice management.
Three updates since the start of 2026:
1. Chicago-based Aspen Dental integrated VideaHealth’s Clinical Assist AI platform into its more than 1,100 dental practices. The move marks one of the largest AI implementations in the dental industry to date in six weeks.
2. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health partnered with Pearl to expand AI use across its practices. The FDA-cleared AI platform will be integrated into existing imaging workflows, extending both traditional radiographic imaging and advanced 3D imaging.
3. Tampa, Fla.-based Coast Dental also selected Pearl as its exclusive AI dental partner, implementing Pearl’s AI dental programs across its 88-practice network.
