Emergency Dental of America has implemented VideaHealth’s Voice Notes platform across its network.

Emergency Dental has more than 20 offices nationwide. The practices operate on a high-volume, same-day care model offering a variety of services, including treatments for dental trauma and infected teeth, cleanings, oral cancer screenings, and exams.

Voice Notes is the first AI-powered ambient dental scribe that captures chairside dialogue to create chart-ready notes that clinicians can review and finalize.

The organization said the addition of VideaHealth’s artificial intelligence technology will allow practices to complete clinical documentation more efficiently.

Emergency Dental said it decided to fully roll out the platform across its network after receiving positive feedback from pilot locations. The technology has helped practices save approximately 10 hours of time for clinicians each week, according to an April 1 news release.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
