Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health and CareQuest Innovation Partners have partnered to scale blood pressure screenings during dental visits.

The two organizations will work together to gather insights on the prevalence of undiagnosed hypertension that is detectable through dental settings. They will also work to estimate the medical cost savings associated with early detection and referral into medical care. These insights will inform workflows within PDS Health’s dental and integrated care practices, according to a May 5 news release.

The collaboration builds on previous partnerships between the two organizations, including through the SMILE Health initiative to support startups and the HLTH Oral Health Pavilion, which brings stakeholders together to advance medical-dental integration.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
