Dental AI company Pearl has launched Pearl RCM, a platform for dental practices to create and submit cleaner claims, reduce reimbursement delays and improve revenue predictability.

Pearl RCM embeds insurance intelligence upstream, creating a more connected workflow and allowing practices to identify potential issues before claims are delayed, downcoded or compromised, according to a May 27 news release from Pearl.

In early deployments, the platform has led to up to 35 hours of staff hours per week and up to 80% fewer downcodes and denials related to missing or incomplete documentation.

Pearl RCM is built on the company’s FDA-approved radiologic AI program.

When staff have to swap between insurance portals and software platforms, there are frequent errors in claim submission. Across the U.S. healthcare industry, claim denials cost providers nearly $30 billion each year, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
