Springfield, Vt.-based North Star Health has added Windham County Dental Center in Brattleboro, Vt., to its organization.
Windham County Dental Center was opened in 2019 through a partnership between United Way of Windham County and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. The center will continue operating as a safety-net provider, according to an Oct. 9 news release from North Star Health.
The center provides care to patients who are uninsured, have Medicaid or have private insurance.
Windham County Dental Center officially became part of North Star Health on Oct. 1, 2026.
“Joining North Star Health represents an exciting new chapter for our community. By broadening our resources and strengthening our partnerships, we can expand the services and opportunities available to our patients,” Karen Wilber, executive director of Windham County Dental Center, said in the release. “This partnership provides greater sustainability for our dental center while allowing us to continue focusing on what matters most — improving the health and well-being of our community.”
