$7.6M medical & dental clinic opens in Minnesota

The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa, an Ojibwe Band, opened a new $7.6 million medical and dental clinic in Vermilion, Minn., according to a Northland’s News Center report.

The 11,000-square-foot facility includes four operating rooms for expanded dental service. The construction of the clinic was funded through loans and grants from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, Indian Health Services, U.S. Department of Agriculture and Iron Ranges Resources and Rehabilitation Board, according to the report.
